Hybrid SW Transmitters:
ELCOR Hybrid SW Transmitters represent one of the main reasons of prestige for this firm since its foundation, 45 years ago.

Their design guarantees in audio quality, reliability and robustness to operate in such a demanding band as it is the Short Wave. A considerable ELCOR SW Transmitters are operating around the world (America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the South Pacific), with a range of power which goes from 2,000 watts (2 KW) to one million watts (1 MW).

ELCOR Hybrid SW Transmitters offer the same features than their AM similars. Audio signals are pulse-width modulated and amplified by IGBT type semiconductor devices in class D. On the other hand, radio-frequency is amplified by a single electronic valve, in class C in the final amplifier. The advantages in energy saving, reliability and robustness are the same as those of the ELCOR AM Hybrid Transmitters.

All the ELCOR SW Hybrid Transmitters have been provided with an excellent protection system against electrical overloads in order to handle adverse weather conditions. Their control system features display of the equipment main parameters, function indicators, easy operation, automatic, manual or remote control start, and many other details.

Finally, all the ELCOR SW Hybrid Transmitters are available to operate in one to four pre-selected frequencies upon the client's request. ELCOR also offers, on special order, traditional Short Wave valve modulated transmitters.
